Putin: All EAEU leaders agree to sign 2030 cooperation declaration
ST. PETERSBURG, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- All members of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council have agreed to sign a declaration of cooperation in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) until 2030 and until 2045, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting on Monday.
"This idea was supported, all members of the Supreme Council agreed to sign the declaration, and we will formalize the decision at the end of our meeting. In fact, the declaration is a new document of a program nature, in which steps to boost joint efforts in the key industries are set forth, and additional spheres of cooperation are defined," Putin said.
The president also said that the share of the national currencies in mutual settlements within the EAEU had exceeded 90%, and this figure was to grow further.
Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan expects to receive support from the other EAEU countries during the period of its chairmanship in the union from January 1.
